The main idea of “Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days” by Stephen Manes
is that Milo wants to be perfect. Milo is conceited. I know this because he wants to be
better than everyone which he not. DR .K. Pinkerton Silverfish is silly because he think the broccoli will make Milo perfect. First, a book hits Milo in the head .Next, he takes out the book to be perfect .Then, he has to wear broccoli around his neck .Then, he can’t eat all day. Next, he can’t anything that broccoli can’t do. What’s going to happen next? You’ll have to read to find out!

If you have ever wanted to be perfect you will like this book because in this book you will be told how to be perfect in three days and get to try the fun things Milo does in the book. If you have ever felt silly, you will relate to Milo because he feels silly when he wears broccoli around his neck.

  1. Salla,
I agree that Milo is conceited. You know, I never thought of that before! I suppose anyone who wants to be perfect is a little self-absorbed (that means kind of the same thing as conceited). Anyway, thanks for writing.

Keep up the good work, Salla. And GET SOME SLEEP!

  2. Salla,

I almost fell off my chair when I read the word conceited in your piece. That is a massive, powerful word, and you wielded it with extreme precision, perfectly describing the way Milo seems to act. I am thoroughly excited to read more and learn about these funny, whimsical characters you described!

Keep up the good work, keep writing those good words!
