In the book Be a Perfect Person In Just Three Days By Stephen Manes, Milo is very lazy because he does not like to read long books. He is also clumsy because he dropped the eggs and he also let the book fall on his head. Dr. Silverfish told Milo not to go onto the back of the book. First Milo went to the library and a book fell on his head. Milo wants his parents attention so he decides to be perfect. Next Milo read chapter one he then he realize the author is a crazy. Next, Milo got the broccoli out of the refrigerator and wore it around his neck.
If you have never touched your veggies you will like this book because in the book, Milo never even thinks about touching his veggies. Instead, he always takes candy and junk food from the fridge. If you have ever felt embarrassed, you will relate to Milo because he feels embarrassed when he has to wear broccoli around his neck. Also, he felt not perfect lots of the time.
If you like Alexander and the No Good, Very Bad Day by Judith Viorst, then you will like Be a Perfect Person In Just Three Days by Stephen Manes because both books are very funny because Milo wears broccoli and Alexander wants to go to Australia. They are also similar because in both books they kind of get yelled at by their parents for doing something.
Do you think you will like the book so far?

Hi Justin,
ReplyDeleteYou did a really good job describing this book. It sounds really funny, and I think I would like it! Great job and I hope you keep enjoying reading!

Justin,
ReplyDeleteI think the weirdest thing of all would be wearing broccoli while you're in Australia! Maybe you could write a book where the two characters meet up and learn new things together! How great!
Keep up the good work,
Mr. de Leon
Justin,
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you, when I was young, I never liked eating my veggies, so I think I will definitely relate to this book. (Now that I'm older I do actually like some vegetables a lot - don't tell anyone.)
This book sounds wild and crazy from your description. You included lots of vivid, important details, and I am now thoroughly excited to read How to Be Perfect in 3 Days.
Keep going strong!
Mr. Russeth
Justin,
ReplyDeleteYou really convinced me to read this story! I am looking for some good books to read over the summer too, so this is helpful. Thanks for your detailed review! Keep reviewing those books and keep me updated on books you like so you can pass them on to me!
